This is the stylish little piece of stainless that glues onto the chainstay, protecting it from chain impact

Old glue residue can be carefully removed from the frame with a sharp razor. 

To install:  Sand the back of the new plate, scuff the carbon area free of old glue, clean with isopropyl alcohol, mix the 2-part epoxy, apply, let cure for 24 hours, and SEND IT!
