Blackbird Send 29" Aluminum Wheelset

The Black­bird Send Alu­minum wheels are designed to elim­i­nate pinch flats and keep the tire sealed no mat­ter what you hit. The wheelset is made up of a Send 1 rim in the front and a Send 2 rim in the rear. Both rims share a unique hol­low box-sec­tion bead­wall that cre­ates a broad con­tact point with the tire, which is much stronger and reduces sliced tire sidewalls. The burly Send 2 rear rim includes a pair of ribs direct­ly beneath the bead seat to keep them round after even the hard­est hits.

The wheels spin on our house designed hubs, which feature four pawls and 36 teeth for 10° of ultra reliable engagement. Tubeless ready out of the box with tape and valves pre-installed. Built with Sapim spokes and nipples so that spares are easy to source. Please note, logo hubs are ONLY 6 bolt rotor compatible
